I still can’t get over this beautiful vow renewal in Cades Cove this past fall. It was absolutely perfect. The weather was incredible, the sun hit our location just right, and we had the cutest little picnic setup complete with Dunkin Donuts donut holes and their favorite drinks to celebrate their 5-year commitment to each other.

It was an emotional time for Chelbe & Jason – and I was most definitely ugly crying through my viewfinder as I captured the beautiful love they hold for each other. It was truly a special moment I will never forget. This time they had together felt sacred as they celebrated the last half-a-decade together and looked forward to a beautiful and bright future together with their two little kiddos.

We were able to park right by this location in the Smokies and walk over with our picnic supplies without a problem. It was easy and we had everything we needed. Mountain views, tree cover (and shade while the sun was still fairly high), tall grass to run around in, and great company! It couldn’t have been a more perfect day for a symbolic mountain vow renewal.
