When we started climbing up the trail to the top of Roan Mountain, I knew this session was going to be stunning.

Perfect weather? Check. 

Amazing couple? Check. 

Beautiful mountain views?! Triple check! 

We had some amazing vendors and this little boho elopement really came to life from there. Roan Mountain is just one of those places you fall in love with. As soon as the forest opened up to the mountain bald, we saw the golden sunshine all around us and everything was just perfect!

We played a bunch of folk music and had a blast exploring the bald. It was seriously the best adventure. Sometimes the best things are just simple and real, and that’s exactly what this shoot was.
